When utilizing the /embed command, a world of visual communication awaits you:
A default embed structure is presented. To customize it, simply click the "Description" button and respond with your desired message.
The result of your customization is showcased. This interactive approach lets you tailor your embed to match your message's intent.
Each blue button offers unique customization opportunities. For instance, the "Author" button allows you to set an author name, URL, and image. Remember, while some fields are optional, you have the freedom to customize to your preference.
As you can see, some are optional, you can skip them if you want.
When it's time to share your embed, two methods are available: instant sending and scheduling. For instant sending, respond with the designated channel. For scheduling, provide both a channel and a timestamp.
However, when scheduling, I have to also add a timestamp.
Oh! I sent my announcement but I forgot to do something.
If this happens to you, don't worry! You can edit your previous announcement. First we have to use /embed again, but now, we will click on Load
button and answer with our previous announcement URL (This does not work if you are using a custom profile due to Discord limitations).
And voila! The previous announcement is editable again!
After doing some changes, we can click the Edit
button in order to edit the previous announcement, we just have to answer with the previous announcement url.
And the announcement is now edited!
